Tracy was great! Nonjudgmental, super helpful and had tons of resources for me to use. She is very professional and had a lot of great ideas to manage weight loss. I have already recommended her to friends!

We are so thankful to have found TNT and Tracy Owens! Our daughter is a dancer, runner and swimmer, and we wanted to be sure she was getting the nutrition she needs. Tracy not only has great experience (working with Olympic dietitians) and a thorough knowledge of sports and food, she has a positive attitude and great suggestions. She also relates to teens (and parents) very well! We had tried other nutritionists, and by far, Tracy is the best for our daughter.

I loved working with Tracy! I had major GI issues, including nausea that I could not get rid of and had no idea what was causing it! My doctor had minimal suggestions. Tracy helped me figure out the cause and worked with me to eat better for your issues. She is very knowledgeable as well as professional and caring!

I am a professional distance runner and started working with Tracy for her expertise in sports dietetics. I went to her because I had been feeling tired and didn’t know the cause. I also want some more specific advice on how to fuel properly for endurance performance. She helped me determine my source of tiredness as low iron (ferritin) and directed me on the best types of vitamins to take to help. Additionally she advised me on proper fueling and hydration for marathon training and racing. We worked on my fueling for recovery as well. Tracy is also great at knowing how to communicate with female endurance athletes who notoriously struggle with maintaining healthy weights. She is very knowledgeable and knows how to get across to her clients in a way that will help them. Very highly recommended!

Tracy has been providing nutrition services to our volleyball club for 10 years. Her easy to apply nutritional practices help young athletes develop sound nutrition and hydration habits thereby assisting them to realize their full athletic potential. She works with our coaches, athletes, and chaperones each year. She also works individually with athletes who have special dietary requirements or other special circumstances. She is an enthusiastic presenter and has tremendous experience with the special nutritional and hydration demands of athletes.

After 2 visits with Tracy, Donald’s A1C came down tremendously over the last several months. After the couple of visits with Tracy, he made drastic changes & the results show proof. Thank you so much for your wealth of knowledge & I will try my best to keep him on track!

“I would highly recommend working with Tracy Owens. My initial consult with her was to identify if I was lactose intolerant. She quickly determined that there may be other underlying issues and we have spent the last 7 months on developing and implementing a plan to identify food sensitivities and improve my overall gut health. She provided a lot of useful information about the food elimination diet process and potential cost for testing and it has been worth it. I have more energy now and am back to training for races. I lost weight as the inflammation in my body decreased and have maintained that weight loss.”

I’ve been going to TNT for almost 10 years. I’ll have to say that it’s been a life changer for me. My thinking about how I train and eat is a direct reflection of my “training” and education of nutrition with Tracy. I hope to be continuing my visits with TNT for many years to come. I consider them a critical partner in my quest to stay as healthy as possible.

I had heard about Tracy Owens at Triangle Nutrition Therapy from a friend who looked and felt great. After a doctor’s visit, my weight was up (again), my cholesterol and triglycerides were high and my bloodwork showed I was getting closer and closer to diabetes. I had tried everything–I worked out 5 days a week, played sports and was starving myself. My doctor told me the bloodwork would be fine if I lost 5 pounds, but I couldn’t do it. My family has a history of obesity, heart disease and stroke. I was worried that as I was becoming middle aged, I would have the same problems. My first visit to Tracy was very eye opening. She reviewed my bloodwork and told me that what I was eating was the wrong kind of food to fuel my body. We came up with a diet that worked for me. She showed me how to check my blood sugar to see what foods worked for me. We were able to eliminate foods that did not work for my body. The first week, I lost one pound. I continued to lose weight slowly and safely until I lost 40 pounds to reach a healthy weight range. I was no longer starving myself, went to the gym much less and pretty much ate regular foods (minus the foods that didn’t fuel my body). I have continued to see Tracy to help with maintenance. She has been helpful in addressing not only my weight related medical issues, but has offered dietary assistance to help address osteoporosis and arthritis. Tracy has taught me how to fuel my body correctly rather than starving myself. I highly recommend Tracy Owens. She is very scientifically based, and develops nutritional plans based on each person's needs.

It wasn't until I started working with Tracy that I began my journey to figuring out why I was not feeling well.  Tracy was able to pinpoint foods that were causing inflammation through testing and provide a clear plan forward. I would highly recommend Triangle Nutrition!

I can't thank Tracy enough for helping my teenage daughter with proper athletic nutrition and everyday nutrition education. My daughter played tennis and then began running cross country and track. She was not adequately fueling her body based on how much she burned during training and competing. Tracy gave such valuable suggestions and insight as well as educating my daughter about eating properly as a healthy competitive female athlete. Tracy was caring and encouraging and a wonderful asset to my daughter. We will be forever grateful for the time and expertise Tracy gave!!
